Terms of Service
By subscribing to or using Tayeno (operated by Clint Bailo, UK), you agree to these Terms of Service.
1. Service Description & AI Nature
Tayeno provides autonomous AI agent software operated via Telegram for workflow assistance (including email triage, drafting, scheduling, and web research). In compliance with Article 50 of the EU AI Act, you acknowledge that you are interacting with artificial intelligence systems.
2. Underlying AI Models & Upstream Providers
Tayeno does not train, own, or host the foundational AI models that power it. In the interests of transparency, our agents route inference through the following upstream providers:
- OpenRouter, Inc. — the model-routing gateway through which the majority of inference requests are dispatched, including requests to frontier third-party models.
- Hangzhou DeepSeek AI Co., Ltd. — frontier multilingual reasoning and vision models used for drafting, synthesis, document reading, and receipt/vision analysis. Requests may be transmitted directly to DeepSeek API infrastructure or routed via OpenRouter.
- Replicate, Inc. — third-party model hosting used exclusively for AI image generation when that capability is enabled for your account.
Model selection may change as we upgrade capability; we will not reduce the standard of care described in these Terms or in our Privacy Policy when we do. Transfers of personal data outside the UK/EEA that arise from model inference are governed by the UK International Data Transfer Addendum (IDTA) and Standard Contractual Clauses, or by explicit consent under UK GDPR Article 49(1)(a).
3. Infrastructure, Hosting & Security Certifications
Every user is provisioned a dedicated, isolated server environment. Access to your agent and your files is available 24/7 from anywhere. Our infrastructure and security posture is built on independently certified providers and standards:
- ISO/IEC 27001 — information security management systems at our hosting data centres.
- PCI DSS — payment card data handling through our payment processor.
- SSL/TLS — encryption in transit for every connection to the platform.
The specific infrastructure vendors that provide our dedicated server hosting, edge delivery, object storage, payment processing, transactional email, and messaging gateways are listed by name in our Privacy Policy under "Explicit Sub-Processors", together with their locations and transfer safeguards.
4. Human Responsibility & Review of Outputs
5. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable UK law, our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to your use of Tayeno shall in no event exceed the total fees paid by you to Tayeno in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
6. Prohibited Use Cases
To maintain platform security and regulatory compliance, you agree never to use Tayeno to process:
- Special category health or biometric data
- Children's personal data (under age 18)
- Payment card numbers or banking passwords
- Regulated financial or legal advice generation
- Any activities that violate third-party terms of service (such as unsolicited mass email or platform scraping)
7. Image Generation & Fair Usage Policy
Image generation is a fair-usage capability, not an unlimited one. The allowance is:
- 80 generated images per billing period (the allowance resets on your subscription renewal date).
- The allowance is account-wide: it is shared across every agent on your account, not granted per agent.
- Document and receipt reading does not consume this allowance. Vision-based reading of receipts, invoices, bills, and uploaded documents is metered separately and is not capped by the image-generation allowance.
- Generated images are delivered to your private Drive. Image generation is provided on a best-effort basis and may be unavailable if an upstream image provider is degraded.
We may throttle, queue, or temporarily suspend image generation if usage patterns indicate automated abuse, resale, or an attempt to circumvent the allowance. The platform declines a generation that would exceed the allowance and tells you the date it resets.
8. Account Suspension
We reserve the right to immediately suspend or terminate any agent instance that violates platform safety guidelines, exceeds fair-use inference thresholds, creates security risks to our infrastructure, or breaches Section 6 (Prohibited Use Cases) or Section 7 (Image Generation & Fair Usage Policy).
9. Cancellation & Refunds
Subscriptions can be cancelled at any time via your account dashboard or Stripe billing portal. We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee for first-time subscribers: if you are not completely satisfied within the first 14 calendar days of your initial plan subscription, contact [email protected] to request a full refund of your initial subscription fee. After the 14-day guarantee period, fees are non-refundable and cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. Upon cancellation, your tenant data will be retained for 30 days and then securely purged.
10. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
